Hi! My name is Lauren. I am one of the group facilitators for the first ever Surrey Local House Project.
My background is within custodial settings, running groups around substance misuse and dual diagnosis.
I then moved onto supporting vulnerable families within Surrey which allowed me to gain experience working with young people.
I am extremely passionate about supporting individuals to reach their potential, overcome challenges and to reach happiness and success. I am privileged and excited to be a part of this!

Aspirational Awards Update
In May, the Aspirational Awards panel awarded just over £15,000 to 19 young people across our LHPs. It was inspiring to see such a wide range of ideas, goals and determination reflected in the applications, and a privilege to support more young people as they take their next steps forward. Funding in Round 9 supported training + graduate employment scheme, equipment for a baking business and support for other businesses, sports sessions, music lessons, lifeguard course, and day trips. We have also recently completed a 3 year review of our Aspirational Awards and the impact they’ve had. Over the past 3 years, we’ve awarded over £147,000 to 138 young people (not including figures from our most recent round in May). If you would like to find out more about how to support the Aspirational Awards please get in touch.
